ABOUT ME

I architect and build smart contracts that hold up when it matters. Over 500 deployed across Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, and other EVM chains—DeFi protocols, token systems, staking mechanics, NFTs—each one written to survive real users and real adversaries.

Problem-solving is at the center of what I do. I break down complex protocol designs into clear invariants, trace edge cases before they hit mainnet, and optimize for gas and security in the same pass. I’ve learned that the best solutions come from asking “what can go wrong?” first, then designing around it.

Before Web3, I spent 13 years in enterprise IT—leading teams, owning mission-critical systems, and running multi-million dollar programs. That background shapes how I work: I care about reliability, clear ownership, and systems that don’t surprise you at 3am.

I’m drawn to hard problems: decentralization tradeoffs, trust boundaries, and protocols that stay secure as they scale. If you’re building something that needs to work under pressure, I’d like to help.

EXPERIENCE

Blockchain Architect and Consultant

Self Employed · Nov 2021 – Present

Designed and deployed over 500 production smart contracts and decentralized applications across Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, Avalanche, BSC, and other EVM-compatible networks.

Built complex DeFi systems including staking protocols, yield strategies, vesting contracts, governance modules, and token ecosystems. Led security-first development workflows including extensive testing, static analysis, audit preparation, and post-audit remediation.

Implemented advanced Solidity patterns and low-level optimizations to reduce deployment and transaction gas costs. Advised teams on decentralization tradeoffs, trust boundaries, and privilege minimization to protect user funds.

Regional Unit Manager, Manufacturing Applications

Honda North America

Led regional IT teams responsible for mission-critical manufacturing applications across all North American plants. Delivered multi-million dollar enterprise programs including full-scale IBM Maximo rollouts with over $40M in annual benefits.

Managed annual budgets of up to $8M and owned KPI reporting and operational performance. Implemented SOX-compliant IT General Controls including access management, change control, and disaster recovery. Recruited, mentored, and developed high-performing technical teams.

Plant Floor Systems Team Manager and Team Lead

Honda North America

Delivered large-scale manufacturing system upgrades and migrations including IBM Maximo 7.6. Led automation initiatives and analytics projects including warranty forecasting systems. Drove continuous improvement efforts generating over $2M per year in cost savings.

ActivPlant Developer and Systems Administrator

Honda North America

Lead developer and administrator for ActivPlant manufacturing data systems across North America. Designed and implemented a manufacturing data warehouse used in production environments through 2020. Planned and executed a 28-server infrastructure upgrade to Windows Server 2012 R2.

IT Support Analyst

Honda Marysville Auto Plant

Frontline IT and hardware support in a high-availability manufacturing environment. Achieved 99.7% on-time completion of lease replacement programs. Earned Dell Hardware Certification and completed over 1,000 hardware repairs and replacements.
